Windows 7

So Windows is finally releasing its newest operating system, Windows 7. Windows Vista was a joke, same joke as Windows ME back in the day. So for Windows' sake, I am really hoping that they made the improvements they were talking about and made the operating system more user friendly as well as more stable. Hey, I moved to a Mac about 3 years ago, and I haven't had any operating system issues since. Just some hardware problems due to travel.

So, as one of the commercial shows, should people really buy new computers, which most will have to if they want to move to Windows 7, or should they perhaps get a Mac and be worry free?

I've been using Windows 7 since the Beta and RC and have not had any problems. Got a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate and it works like a hot damn. Vista and ME were total mistakes however Windows did a great job with 7. I think they did it right this time and hopefully for the sake of this company they don't repeat the same mistakes they've made before.

Here's to hoping!

I am going to agree with Shaun here, I am now using Windows 7 and it might be a little to say for sure, but if Windows 7 is another flop, I am going with a Mac for personal use. I guess at work I have no choice, but for crying out loud Microsoft, do something right for a change.
